The Grana Padano Consortium unites its member producers, who safeguard a tradition that is nearly a thousand years old. Craftsmanship, passion and expertise are the pillars that allow our members to bring the world’s most popular PDO cheese to your table.
Our member producers come from the Italian regions of Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Trentino-Alto Adige and Piedmont. Also seasoners located in Lombardia, Veneto and in the provinces of Piacenza, Trento e Cuneo belong to the consortium. In addition, the Consortium also includes: authorised facilities for portioning Grana Padano PDO cheese and approved facilities for packaging grated Grana Padano PDO cheese.
Every one of our members plays the important role of guaranteeing respect for the traditional Grana Padano recipe as per the Production Specifications, which is essential in preserving the quality, flavour and nutritional values of every wheel.
