    Crispy bread with ricotta, Grana Padano, honey and walnuts

    Ingredients

    • 4 slices of rustic bread (such as homemade or wholemeal bread)
    • 200 g fresh ricotta
    • 80 g grated Grana Padano PDO
    • 2 tablespoons of acacia honey
    • 40 g of chopped walnuts
    • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
    • 60 g Grana Padano PDO in flakes

    Preparation

    STEP 1

    Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the bread slices on a baking tray and bake for about 8-10 minutes, until crispy.

    STEP 2

    In a bowl, knead the ricotta cheese with the grated Grana Padano PDO until creamy and smooth. Spread the ricotta and Grana Padano cream on the toasted bread slices.

    STEP 3

    Add walnuts and top with a drizzle of honey. If you like, add a pinch of black pepper, paprika or your favourite spice.
    Arrange the bread on a serving plate and serve.
