Desenzano del Garda, 12 October 2024 – From 15th to 18th October, on the 120th anniversary of the International Dairy Federation (IDF/FIL), Grana Padano will present at the World Dairy Summit, organised by IDF/FIL, which will bring together industry leaders from business, government, international and academia in a setting to promote future opportunities and address current challenges through collaboration, foresight and innovation. The IDF World Dairy Summit 2024 promises an unparalleled platform for dairy sector to demonstrate its exceptional ability to nourish a rapidly expanding population with safe, nutritious, and wholesome products, all while upholding a steadfast commitment to sustainability. A series of captivating sessions will be held, centred around IDF’s four strategic pillars: standards, safety and quality, nutrition, and sustainability. The Consortium will offer cheese tastings of Grana Padano Riserva aged over 20 month for all the participants.

Announcing the presence of the most widely consumed PDO in the world, the President of the Consortium, Renato Zaghini, declared: «One more opportunity to reflect at international level on the great challenges of the sector.
