Grana Padano at Foodex Japan 2025

Desenzano del Garda (BS), March 7, 2025 – Grana Padano will participate in Foodex Japan 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo International Exhibition Center, from March 11 to 14. Foodex Japan is Japan’s most important agri-food trade fair, an annual event showcasing industry innovations and attracting over 80,000 visitors from approximately 90 countries and regions, including more than 13,000 international buyers.
This event, dedicated to professionals in the food & beverage sector, represents a great opportunity for the Grana Padano Protection Consortium to strengthen its international leadership.
During this edition, the Consortium will present various initiatives to highlight the versatility of Grana Padano. In particular, at Stand No. E3 – BB04, Cheese Expert Yuko Sato will host seminars on the different aging stages of the cheese providing participants with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the product.
Stefano Berni, General Director of the Consortium, expressed great enthusiasm for participating in Foodex Japan, emphasizing Grana Padano’s increasing focus on exports. “These results are the outcome of our constant commitment to promoting our product. Thanks to the grated cheese agreement, even in Japan, the world’s most consumed PDO cheese is growing at a double-digit rate, with a 35.04% surge recorded in 2024,” Berni stated.
